I can't promise I'll manage to write them all but I'd still like to try and send out Christmas cards again this year. The cards will possibly be of the traditional variety so if you don't care for those you can skip this post ;-) If you'd like to receive a card (again, no promise I'll be able to make it) please leave your name/address in a comment - even if you think I got your address. The comments will of course be screened!

If you'd like to send us a Christmas card, please keep in mind we moved a month ago. Our new address is available on request via e-mail (snail from the old address will be forwarded, but still) :-)

Since a lot of people seem to get into the mood for Christmas already it might be a good time for this...

Hey people, I've moved over to DreamWidth and am no longer paying for the LJ account. Not that I'm actually finding time to write much - my kids know how to prevent this ;-) - I'm using both accounts mostly for reading purposes. Feel free to add me on DW as well, who knows I might start to blog again... For short-lived info & bursts find me on FB (if you don't know my RL name leave a comment and I'll add you, comments are screened for this purpose).

Recommendation for admins working with RHEL 4 and SANs in combination with PowerPath and LVM. Do change the "filter" line in /etc/lvm/lvm.conf (e.g. as described here) or you will end up getting duplicate PV entries and will be unable to do a pvmove unless you tell LVM to consider only specific devices! *facepalm*
